Mission Vision Values Strategies
Our Vision: “Gather Grow Go”
TC Vision – As the community of believers, we are committed to gathering, growing, and going while being built up in love, as each person does their part.
Acts 2:42-47 – 42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. 43 A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. 44 And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. 45 They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. 46 They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— 47 all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

Connection to Our TC Vision: “Gather, Grow, Go”
As the community of believers, we are committed to gathering, growing, and going while being built up in love, as each person does their part.
I. GATHER: as the Community of Believers to encourage each other in love and action
- Hebrews 10:24-25 – “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
- Psalm 133:1 – “How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!”
- Matthew 18:20 – “For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
- 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 – “The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.”
II. GROW – in relationship with God and others through discipleship and teaching
- 2 Peter 3:18 – “Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.”
- Colossians 1:10 – “Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.”
- Ephesians 4:15-16 – “Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”
- 1 Thessalonians 3:12 – “And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.”
III. GO – out with the Gospel of Jesus, through the church, to the nations, for the Kingdom
- Matthew 28:19-20 – “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
- Mark 16:15 – “And then he told them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.'”
- Romans 10:14-15 – “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, ‘How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!'”
- Isaiah 6:8 – “Then I heard the Lord asking, ‘Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?’ I said, ‘Here I am. Send me.'”
