Hope in God’s Timing: Finding Your Starting Point

November 30, 2025

Believe: Faith & Hope Series

INFORMATION: Hope In God’s Timing

What is Kairos Time?

Chronos – that’s time on a clock, measurable minutes and hours.

Kairos – God’s appointed timing, God’s opportune timing, it’s when heaven breaks into your everyday life and everything changes.

Galatians 6:9 (NLT)“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

INSPIRATION: Your Strategic Positioning

Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Our Mission

To reach our communities locally and globally with the message of freedom and fullness found in Christ.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…” — Matthew 28:19-20

Our Vision

As the Community of Believers, we are committed to gathering, growing, and going while being built up in love, as each person does their part.

  • GATHER — as the Community of Believers to encourage each other in love and action
  • GROW — in relationship with God and others through discipleship and teaching
  • GO — out with the Gospel of Jesus, through the church, to the nations, for the Kingdom

“He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” — Colossians 1:28-29

Our Values

  • We value learning God’s Word by spending regular time with Him
  • We value loving God’s Word by fulfilling the Great Commandment
  • We value living God’s Word by fulfilling the Great Commission

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” — 2 Timothy 3:16-17

MOTIVATION: Your Kingdom Investment

The T4 Principle: Positioning for Acceleration

TIME — Strategic Positioning of Your Presence

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.” — Ephesians 5:15-16

Where can your presence create the most Kingdom transformation?

  • Connect in a small group for authentic relationships
  • Serve on a team where your presence makes a difference
  • Be present where God has already positioned you for influence

TALENT — Operating in Your Spiritual Gifts

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” — Romans 12:6

Your gifts aren’t for you — they’re for Kingdom advancement

  • Teaching, administration, hospitality, mercy, leadership, prophetic insight
  • Many believers get stuck trying to grow through someone else’s gifting
  • When you discover your gifts and align them with Kingdom purpose = supernatural acceleration
  • Take the spiritual gifts assessment
  • Begin serving in areas that match your gifting

TREASURE — Kingdom Economics and Generous Living

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” — Malachi 3:10

2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬-‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.”

Generosity positions you for supernatural increase

  • This is Kingdom strategy, not just a nice principle
  • Operate from generosity rather than scarcity
  • Practice tithing — giving the first 10% honors God and positions you under His blessing

TESTIMONY — Your Story of Transformation

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” — 1 Peter 3:15

Your story becomes someone else’s breakthrough

  • You don’t need a polished, amazing testimony
  • Share what God is doing right now
  • Your simple story is the perfect story to share
  • Authenticity creates connection; performance creates distance

    • What are the next steps?

THE FIVE STAGES OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Stage 1: Spiritually Seeking

Scripture: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” — Matthew 7:7

Characteristics:

  • Curious about God but still have questions
  • Drawn to conversations about faith and spirituality
  • Wondering if there’s something more to life
  • God meets you right where you are in your seeking

Stage 2: Spiritual Infant

Scripture: “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow.” — 1 Peter 2:2

Characteristics:

  • Made the decision to follow Jesus — everything feels new
  • Hungry to learn and grow
  • Excited about God and want to share with others
  • Discovering what it means to live as a Christian
  • Eagerness characterizes this stage — lean into that enthusiasm!

Stage 3: Spiritual Child

Scripture: “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.” — 1 Corinthians 13:11

Characteristics:

  • Know basic Christian concepts and can talk about your faith
  • Passionate about God and enjoy being around other believers
  • Motivated to do right when you see how it benefits you
  • Learning to think about others, but own needs often come first
  • This isn’t bad — it’s normal development!

Stage 4: Spiritual Young Adult

Scripture: “I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you.” — 1 John 2:14

Characteristics:

  • Experienced significant growth and feel confident in your faith
  • Love serving and look for ways to make a difference
  • Others see you as a strong believer and come to you for advice
  • Care deeply about God’s Kingdom and helping others grow
  • Seen people come to faith through your influence
  • Growth Edge: Serving intentionally but not yet making disciples strategically

Stage 5: Spiritual Parent

Scripture: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations.” — Matthew 28:19

Characteristics:

  • Focused on helping others grow in their faith journey
  • Naturally invest in people and help them discover their calling
  • Life is organized around making disciples who make disciples
  • Find joy in seeing others succeed and grow beyond where you are
  • Creating leaders and multiplying your impact through others
  • Living out the Great Commission

Where are you right now? There’s no judgment — just clarity for your next step!

Moving Forward

Don’t wait until you’re “mature enough” to discover your gifts and step into your calling.

Start now from your starting point. Ask God to reveal how He’s wired you, get around spiritual shepherds who can help identify your strengths, and begin positioning yourself where those gifts can flourish.

Remember: This isn’t about perfection — it’s about forward movement. God meets you where you are, but He’s too good to leave you there.

The Promise for Sent Ones

BELIEVE: Faith That Connects In Community

November 9, 2025

The enemy’s greatest weapon against revival isn’t temptation or doubt—it’s pride. Those lies that whisper “you’ve got this alone,” “you don’t need anyone,” or “it’s just you and Jesus” contradict how the Kingdom works. No mission, breakthrough, or revival was accomplished by lone rangers.

Series Recap:

  • Week 1: Faith gives substance (Hebrews 11:1)
  • Week 2: Hope for revival & 4 Battle Strategies
  • Week 3: Faith that moves mountains (Matthew 17:20)
  • Week 4: Faith that endures through trials

INFORMATION: THE COMMUNITY DESIGN OF FAITH

The 4 Battle Strategies for Revival:

  1. COMMUNITY – Understanding God’s heart for the area you live
  2. FASTING – Positions you for breakthrough and aligns you with God’s heart
  3. PRAYER – Aligning your spirit with what God is already doing
  4. WORSHIP – Strategic surrender that positions you where God can fight for you

Community isn’t just first on the list—it’s the strategy that positions you so the other three are possible.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 – Two are better than one. If one falls, the other helps. A triple-braided cord is not easily broken. True spiritual growth only happens in the context of long-term relationships.

1 Corinthians 12:6-7, 12 – “God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other… The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.”

Galatians 6:2 – “Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.” Burden-sharing isn’t optional—doing it alone is operating in disobedience.

INSPIRATION: ACCELERATED GROWTH THROUGH COMMUNITY

Acts 13:2-4 – The church at Antioch was worshiping, fasting, praying, and operating in community when the Holy Spirit spoke. They had all 4 Battle Strategies working together.

Pattern at Antioch:

  • COMMUNITY – Unified church with diverse leadership (v.1)
  • FASTING – Actively fasting when Holy Spirit spoke, then fasted again (v.2-3)
  • PRAYER – Laid hands on them and sent them out (v.3)
  • WORSHIP – Worshiping the Lord, creating atmosphere for God’s presence (v.2)

Ephesians 4:16 – “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”

MOTIVATION: THREE TYPES OF KINGDOM RELATIONSHIPS

Hebrews 10:24-25 – “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

Every believer needs all three relationship types operating simultaneously:

1. SPIRITUAL PARENTS – People further along who are mentoring and discipling you

1 Corinthians 4:15 – These are people focused on discipleship who invest in your growth, challenge your thinking, and help shape your character. They ask the hard questions: How’s your heart? What’s God teaching you? Where are you being tempted?

2. KINGDOM PARTNERS – Peers running the race alongside you, strengthening each other

Romans 1:11-12 – Shoulder-to-shoulder relationships—people in similar seasons facing similar battles. Paul understood mutual ministry—he wanted to encourage them but also expected to be encouraged by their faith.

3. SPIRITUAL SONS/DAUGHTERS – People you are mentoring and discipling into their Kingdom assignments

2 Timothy 2:2 – “You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.” The multiplication pattern—what you receive, you give away. You don’t need to be an expert, just a few steps ahead.

The Acceleration Factor: When you have all three types:

TRANSFORMATION: BUILDING AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY

Three Practical Steps:

1. INITIATE AUTHENTIC CONNECTION

Stop waiting. Identify:

  • One potential Spiritual Parent (someone further along who could invest in you)
  • One Kingdom Partner (someone in a similar season you could partner with)
  • One emerging Spiritual Son/Daughter (someone you could begin mentoring/discipling)

Then make the ask. “Would you be willing to meet regularly to help me grow spiritually?”

2. PRACTICE THROUGH CONTRIBUTION

1 Thessalonians 5:11 – “Encourage each other and build each other up.” Look for ways to contribute to other people’s lives. Offer your gifts, resources, or support to help them succeed in their sphere of influence. Ministry isn’t a program—it’s a lifestyle of building others up.

3. CREATE KINGDOM PARTNERSHIPS

Find someone committed to your spiritual growth and Kingdom effectiveness, and make the same commitment to them.

Action Steps:

  • Write down which of the three types of relationships you’re missing
  • Identify one person to reach out to this week
  • Commit to Night of Worship (December 4th, 6:30 PM)
  • Join Starting Point (December 7th, after service)

Community is the foundation that makes the other three battle strategies effective. You need spiritual parents to shepherd you, kingdom partners to walk it out, and spiritual sons/daughters to mentor and encourage. The question isn’t whether you need community—it’s whether you’ll position yourself in it.

BELIEVE – Faith That Moves Mountains

Sunday, October 26, 2025

PART 1: THE SOURCE OF MOUNTAIN-MOVING POWER

Three Ways To Position Your Faith:

1. In His Faithfulness

2. In His Power

3. Faith Positioned in His Wisdom

PART 2: FAITH THAT CREATES KINGDOM INFLUENCE

PART 3: CATCHING THE VISION

PART 4: STEPPING INTO ACTION

Three Practical Ways To Position Mountain-Moving Faith:

1. Instead of avoiding difficult assignments, identify which mountain God wants to move through correctly positioned faith.

2. Take concrete steps toward breakthrough based on God’s character rather than circumstances you can see.

3. Position yourself to give God glory when breakthrough happens.

Three Common Obstacles:

“This obstacle is too big to overcome.”

“I’ve tried to move mountains before and failed.”

“This mountain needs to move now.”
