How Did Jesus See: THE WORLD?
I. Jesus Saw The World Needed Love
John 3:16-17 (NLT) – 16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
II. Jesus Saw The World Needed Light
John 8:12 (NLT) – Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
III. Jesus Knew The World Would Be Offensive
John 15:18-19 (NLT) – 18 “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. 19 The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. Jesus told his disciples to take heart – if the world hated them, it’s because they hated Him first.
IV. Jesus Still Loves The World
Romans 5:8 (NLT) – But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
