I. Do We Have The Same Attitude Jesus Has?
Philippians 2:5 (NLT) – 5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
John 5:30 (NLT) – I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will.
II. Are We Doing What Jesus Asks Us To Do?
Luke 6:46 (NLT) – “So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say?
John 15:14-17 (NLT) – 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. 16 You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. 17 This is my command: Love each other.
III. Do We Truly Love One Another?
John 13:34-35 (NLT) So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
IV. Do I Have The Mind Of Christ?
1 Corinthians 2:16 (NLT) – For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.
